Beyonce - If I Were a Boy Parody (If I Were a Girl)

A parody of If I Were a Boy, by Beyonce…or rather, BC Jean.
I decided to parody this song for two reason:

1) I really like this song (imitation is the finest form of flattery!)

and

2) I was pretty peeved after watching the video. The first three quarters of the video I was thinking, “oh this is nice. They’re finally doing a video where the guy doesn’t always look like the douchebag”. But as luck would have it, the roles got reversed and the man in the vid became the typical jerkface.

Not all guys are like this!!! So this is my pointed response to Beyonce’s male-trashing song.

To get ready for a date
Make him sit on the couch with flowers
And let him know I’m, worth the wait

I don’t think I could understand
How I could swear to love the smart guys
But go crazy for that macho man
I wouldn’t use too much teeth
Cause I know how it hurts
And I’d turn off your xbox
Before you got to save
And everything you had got destroyed

It’s a little too late, for you to come back
Say it’s just a mistake
Think I’d forgive you like that
I almost killed the last boss
Then you turned it off

But that’s what makes us so beautiful
Our imperfections visible
In spite of that were all still intact
