We always seem to loose the great ones. For those of you who never saw him live, you mised a true event. Small shows, college or University, most times. Remarkable storyteller & missed by many.

Wow. Cried watching this. Truly a national treasure; in league with Don McLean, Tom Petty, or [insert really great singer/ songwriter here]. Outstanding.

we all can relate to this tune in some way or another. dating the first girl and how you reacted though you may not want to recall but it happened.
funny…life happens and you recall it and with a tune like this it lets you recall it how it happened.

No he died in a car crash, either engine problems, or heart attack. Anyways he crashed into a semi and the gas tank engulfed in flames and he was taken to a hospital and he died.

“H. Chapin, J. Denver, J. Croce, J. Lennon all taken from us way too soon. Imagine the things that they could have created during the last 20 years had they lived. Thanks for the posting and thank God for YouTube a place where we can remember and reminisce.” i agreed 100%. nice to see someone else agrees with me.
