   Looks like it has a lot to do with Apple to me!

   Those features are both device specific, there is support for an accelerometer but I am not sure about multi-touch.

   Android is a nice open system, however I personally find the iPhones underlying structure to be more organized and powerful. Hopefully, at some point apple will allow for 3d party background applications, which a the major drawback for developers.
